The use of AI within the creative industries is changing the way that creative concepts are realised. More AI tools are being used within production pipelines than ever before, and are developing at an exponential rate. This has an impact on the way creative studios work, and entry level roles are evolving as a consequence.

As a tutor of undergraduate creative students, I am keen to find out how different industries are adapting to AI and what we can do to help prepare students to succeed in their chosen creative disciplines. What skills and attributes are creative studios looking for from graduating students, and how can universities and colleges best prepare their students to compete in a fluctuating industry?

With this in mind, I have started a research project to investigate different creative industries and to help answer the important questions facing our creative students. This podcast is a key stage of the research. Inviting industry experts and academics to discuss these key issues will give me a broad insight into the use of AI in the creative industry and it's impact on current and future creative careers. This will allow me to analyse different industries and the results will help to inform the future teaching of our creative students.

Podcast episodes will be released on a fortnightly basis, with new episodes dropping on Wednesdays. You are invited to connect with me and ask questions that we can feature on future podcast episodes through the 'Get in Touch' page on the website.

I hope that you enjoy the podcasts, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Jo
